WESTGATE Shopping City is the largest shopping center in the European Union and in Croatia with over 226,000 m2 of gross area and 100,000 m2 of sales space. In this international project investor group Focus Invest GmbH invested EUR 270 million, and the Center was built in a record time of just fifteen months. Westgate is officially opened in November 2009 and today is conceptualized as a family shopping and entertainment center where there are numerous famous brand stores such as Reserved, Mango, H&M, C&A, New Yorker, TEDI, Pepco, dm, Müller, Hervis, Konzum, Next, PRIMA, Möbel Land and many others.
With a rich offer of sales assortment, customers can enjoy bowling in Rock’n’Bowl, the largest bowling alley in Croatia, at numerous gastro centers including Ali Kebab, Burger Bar, Family Restaurant, Bake’n’Roll Palace, Batak and other restaurants. Westgate is the only shopping mall with a museum – Ferdinand Budicki Museum Museum and indoor inline skating, and the only kid’s cinema in Croatia and the Kid’s World Kids’ Club for up to 4000m² guarantee unforgettable experience for the youngest.
The center is located next to the A2 motorway connecting Central Europe with Southeast Europe and the Balkans and is a very frequent tourist route; and it is 17 kilometers from Zagreb with which it connects the electrified railway line Zabok – Westgate – Zagreb and the free bus lines provided by Westgate. There is a covered garage on five floors with 2,500 parking spaces available to buyers, out of a total of 7,250 parking spaces around the Center, as well as electric cargo boilers.
